Requires Level 11.

  • +(20–30)% to Fire Resistance
  • +(25–40)% to Cold Resistance
  • (25–40)% increased Attack Speed while Ignited
  • (25–40)% increased Cast Speed while Ignited
  • +25% chance to be Ignited
  • All Damage Taken from Hits can Ignite you
  • (Ignite deals Fire Damage over time, based on the base Fire Damage of the Skill, for 4 seconds)

Mechanics

All Damage Taken from Hits can Ignite you: This modifier allows all non-fire damage types (from enemies, environment, or from the character) to be able to have a chance to ignite the character, and have a 100% chance to ignite the character on a critical strike.

This can be used in combination with the following items to consistently trigger ignites on the character:

  • Boneshatter
  • Doedre's Elixir
  • Echoes of Creation
  • Eye of Innocence
  • Forbidden Rite
  • Heartbound Loop
  • Replica Tulfall
  • Scold's Bridle
  • Storm Secret


Equipping an item that has Unaffected by Ignite will be required to negate the ignite degeneration on the character. Note that reflected damage (e.g. Hiltless) can never inflict ailments.

Notes

Mokou's Embrace has its own little glowy effect. Glows orange when worn. This applies to both the alternate artwork and the default one.

Item acquisition

Mokou's Embrace can drop anywhere. It can be chanced.

Supporter attribution

Mokou's Embrace was created by supporter supercirno. The design was inspired by the Touhou character, Fujiwara no Mokou.
