Chapter 4 is the ultimate test of your Nephalem mettle! Brace yourself for intense battles, cunning strategies, and epic rewards. Here’s a breakdown of each objective and some tips to conquer them:
1. Purify 1,000 Seeds of Hatred obtained in Hostile areas at an Altar of Extraction:
- Seeds of Hatred drop from enemies in Hostile areas like the Fractured Peaks or Whispering Sands. Be prepared for tough fights!
- Locate Altars of Extraction on your map and purify the Seeds in batches for efficiency.
2. Defeat a World Boss:
- Keep an eye on the map for the red skull icon marking a World Boss event. Join forces with other adventurers and take down the behemoth!
3. Complete a Legion Event:
- Look for the purple portal icon on your map signifying a Legion Event. These offer thrilling large-scale battles against hordes of demons.
4. Complete 10 Vaults:
- Head back to Vault entrances found scattered around Sanctuary. Remember, any Vault counts, so choose your favorites.
5. Unlock 10 Wardwoven Chests by preserving Zoltun’s Warding:
- Activate Zoltun’s Warding on your character and complete activities without taking damage. Chests will occasionally spawn as a reward for flawless execution.
6. Defeat 30 Vault Heralds summoned at the Braziers:
- Similar to Chapter 3, activate braziers in the Vault of Malphas arena to summon Vault Heralds. Take down 30 of these pesky minions.
7. Complete a Nightmare Vault:
- Access Nightmare Vaults through the Worldstone Monolith after reaching Nightmare difficulty. Be prepared for a significant difficulty spike!
8. Craft a Vault Sigil at the Occultist:
- Gather the required materials (check the Occultist for details) and craft your Vault Sigil. This powerful charm unlocks unique Vault events.
9. Defeat Echo of Varshan in World Tier 3, summoned beneath the Tree of Whispers with materials from World Tier 3 Whisper Caches:
- Collect materials from World Tier 3 Whispers and head beneath the Tree of Whispers. Activate the sigil there to summon and defeat Echo of Varshan. This challenging fight requires top-tier gear and strategy.
10. Obtain 20 Caches from the Tree of Whispers by completing Whispers:
- Focus on higher-tier Whispers in World Tier 3 for increased Cache drop chances. Remember, efficiency is key!
11. Reach Level 55:
- Keep pushing through activities and slaying demons. Leveling up will come naturally as you conquer Chapter 4’s challenges.
