PoE Cooperation Vaal Aspect: Uniting for Power

Cooperation is one of the four powerful Vaal Aspects introduced in Path of Exile: Ultimatum and later reworked in Patch 3.23. As its name suggests, this aspect is tied to the theme of teamwork and collaboration, offering its true potential when combined with other aspects.

Acquisition:

  • Cooperation drops from K'aj A'alai, one of the Vaal Temple Map bosses.
  • Alternatively, you can craft it using specific recipes involving other Vaal Aspects:
    • Ambition + Beauty + Curiosity.
    • Beauty + Curiosity + Will (now Curiosity).

What it does:

  • Unlike some aspects that have inherent effects when equipped, Cooperation's power lies in its synergy with others. Combining it with the other Vaal Aspects (Beauty, Curiosity, and Ambition) unlocks the true potential:

Forming The Adorned:

  • By arranging the four Vaal Aspects in the correct order within the Vaal Temple Map, they transform into The Adorned, a unique and powerful jewel.
  • Each aspect contributes specific modifiers to The Adorned based on its position. While the exact details of Cooperation's contribution are still being explored by the community, it's suspected to be related to enhancing party play or buffing allies.

The Adorned:

  • This jewel grants access to four unique skill gems, each with potent abilities:
    • Blight's End: Chaos spell triggering a devastating explosion based on recent blight kills.
    • Forbidden Flame: Fire skill creating a searing ring of fire around the user.
    • Whispering Ice: Cold skill shooting a piercing projectile that creates chilling waves upon impact.
    • Winterweave: Cold skill creating a chilling aura that slows enemies and grants freeze and chill immunity.

Additional Notes:

  • Obtaining The Adorned requires significant coordination and planning, but the rewards can significantly alter your build and playstyle.
  • Cooperation, along with the other Vaal Aspects, offers an exciting endgame challenge with a unique cooperative twist.

Ahuatotli, the Blind is a boss that can only appear inside The Grand Architect’s Temple nodes within the Vaal Outpost biome, inside The Azurite Mine in Delve.

Ambition Vaal Aspect Ambition Vaal Aspect Drop level: 82. Only drops from the Vaal Omnitect in the Temple of Atzoatl of zone level 80 or higher.

Drop monster: The Vaal Omnitect.

PoE 3.20: The Mad King Divination card has been re-enabled, and now awards an Ultimatum Aspect. This card can now be found in the Caldera, Colosseum, Dark Forest, and Reef Maps.

  • (50–150)% increased Effect of Jewel Socket Passive Skills containing
  • Corrupted Magic Jewels, if not from Cluster Jewels

At their height, the Vaal glittered under the sun. A decade, a century, an aeon of prosperity… now nothing more than a passing wonder.

Place into an allocated Jewel Socket on the Passive Skill Tree. Right click to remove from the Socket.

How to get it?

  • The Adorned has restrictions on where or how it can drop. It cannot be chanced. You can create this jewel by combining Vaal Aspect pieces in a 3 by 3 grid.
