PoE Chance to create a Split or Mirrored Copy – Necropolis Crafting Modifiers
PoE Challenge 3.24: Craft Equipment in The Necropolis while using the following Crafting Modifiers resulting in an Item Level 81 or higher item.
Chance to create a Split or Mirrored Copy
25% chance to create a Split Copy
25% chance to create a Mirrored Copy
These modifiers were part of the Necropolis crafting mechanics in Path of Exile and influenced the outcome of the “Exorcising” process used to craft items with monster corpses. Here’s a breakdown of what they mean:
Chance: Both modifiers have a 25% base chance of triggering during the Exorcising process.
Split Copy:
If this effect triggers, it essentially duplicates the corpse you used for crafting.
This would be beneficial if the specific monster type was rare or you needed its corpse for multiple crafting attempts.
You’d get a copy of the corpse along with the crafted item, allowing you to use the copy for another crafting session.
Mirrored Copy:
If this effect triggers, it creates a mirrored copy of the crafted item itself, not the corpse.
This essentially doubles your output from a single crafting session.
This could be useful if the crafted item was valuable or you wanted multiples for different builds or characters.
