Unlocking the Mount feature
For players that haven’t unlocked the Mounts feature and want more information on the process, see our How to unlock Mounts guide. In short, players will automatically receive the Donan’s Favor Priority Quest at the beginning of Act IV of the campaign and be Level 30-35.
Acquiring other Mounts
In Diablo 4, new horse breeds can be acquired via:
- Monster drops: different horse breeds drop in different regions of the world
- Season Pass: available for purchase with Premium Currency
- Promotions: buying the Deluxe or Ultimate edition, co-brand deals (KFC), and Twitch drops
- Stable Master: the Stable Master offers limited Mounts via their Vendor tab
- PvP: players can exchange Red Dust at the Fields of Hatred vendor for unique Mounts
Are Diablo 4 Mounts cosmetic-only?
Yes, although each horse breed looks different, they all have the same speed and abilities Equipping them with Mount Armor and Mount trophies also has zero effect on their power (i.e., cosmetic-only).
