Quickstep

As you may be aware, Path of Exile’s Ruthless mode features no movement skills. In 3.21, we are giving it a single movement skill: Quickstep.

Quickstep

Quickstep Quickstep is an active skill gem. It can be only used in Ruthless mode.

Performs a series of quick teleports towards a targeted location, stopping at any place you can’t stand. if using the “Attack in Place” option, the direction is reversed. Shares a cooldown with other blink skills. Cannot be supported.

Level: 1 (Max). Tags: Spell, Movement, Travel, Blink. Cooldown Time: 10.00 sec. Cast time: 0.15 sec.

Requires Level 1.

  • 200% increased cooldown recovery rate if used while a unique enemy is in your presence
  • Quality has no effect
  • This spell’s cast speed cannot be modified

Additional Effects From Quality: Quality has no effect.

Place into an item socket of the right colour to gain this skill. Right click to remove from a socket.

Build Guide

It has a longer cooldown than other movement skills, cannot travel through monsters or terrain but its cooldown is greatly reduced near unique monsters.

Quickstep is a blink / movement / travel skill which causes the skill user to quickly move in the target direction. It works similarly to Dash, except it can't pass through terrain or monsters that you can't normally walk on or through.

PoE Quickstep Gem 3.21

Description: When the skill is cast, the user teleports in the direction of the cursor. If Attack In Place is held down, the user teleports opposite the direction. The gem by default only has one use before one must wait for the cooldown to use it again. It has a max level of 1, and does not improve its stats in any way if its level is increased.

  • Quickstep shares a cooldown with other Blink skills.
  • Quickstep cannot be supported with support gems.

This skill gem is exclusive to Ruthless mode.

How to get it?

  • It’s a guaranteed drop from Hillock.

Quickstep Preview

PoE 3.19 changes: The Quickstep Notable Passive Skill now grants +10% chance to Suppress Spell Damage (previously +6%).
