List of Path of Exile 2 New Items

Path of Exile 2 features 700 equipment base types and every single one has its own unique item you can find. You can augment your arsenal with new weapons such as Spears, Crossbows and Flails, as well as supplementary items like Focuses, Traps and redesigned Sceptres.

Anchorite Garb Anchorite Garb is a body armour base type.

Evasion Rating: 90. Energy Shield: 45.

Requires Level 30, 46 Dex, 46 Int.

Icicle Flail Icicle Flail is a flail base type.

Cold Damage: 16-38. Critical Strike Chance: 10.00%. Attacks per Second: 1.20.

Requires Level 47, 117 Str, 44 Int.

Hunting Spear Hunting Spear is a Spear base type.

Physical Damage: 7-13. Critical Strike Chance: 5.00%. Attacks per Second: 1.40.

Requires Level 10, 32 Dex.

  • 20% chance to Maim on Hit

Requires Level 20, 50 Int.

  • Grants Level 1 Unleash Skill
Ember Greataxe

Ember Greataxe is a Axe base type.

Two Handed Axe. Fire Damage: 23-61. Critical Strike Chance: 5.00%. Attacks per second: 1.20.

Requires Level 47, 117 Str, 44 Dex.

Crumbling Maul

Crumbling Maul is a Mace base type.

Two Handed Mace. Physical Damage: 38-46. Critical Strike Chance: 5.00%. Attacker Per Second: 1.05.

Requires Level 37, 122 Str.

  • Destroys enemies killed by critical strikes
Mail Breaker

Mail Breaker is a Dagger base type.

Physical Damage: 13-30. Critical Strike Chance: 15.00%. Attacks Per Second: 1.30.

Requires Level 44, 77 Dex, 77 Int.

  • Breaks 430 Armour on Critical Strike
Ashen Staff

Ashen Staff is a Staff base type.

  • Grants Level 1 Fireball Skill
Long Quarterstaff

Long Quarterstaff is a Quarterstaff base type.

Physical Damage: 7-15. Critical Strike Chance: 10.00%. Attacks Per Second: 1.35.

Requires Level 18 Dex.

  • 16% Increased Range
Clay Trap

Clay Trap is a Trap base type.

Throw Time: 0.75 Sec. Detonation Type: Proximity.

Bone Sceptre

Bone Sceptre is a Sceptre base type.

Spirit: 12-16.

Requires Level 48, 22 Int.

Glass Shank

Glass Shank is a Dagger base type.

Physical Damage: 3-9. Cold Damage: 8-15. Critical Strike Chance: 17.67%. Attacks Per Second: 1.40.

Crescent Quarterstaff

Crescent Quarterstaff is a Quarterstaff base type.

Physical Damage: 11-22. Critical Strike Chance: 10.00%. Attacks Per Second: 1.50.

PoE 2 New Items

Weapons and armour have stronger stat and visual identity within their archetypes. Base items are now consistently visually themed around their drop locations in the Acts, and can only be purchased from related themed vendors. Additionally, the name of base-type items are consistent between each attribute combination. Most weapon categories that have generic implicits on all base types no longer do, making room for more interesting implicit modifiers.

  • Daggers are purely attack themed, and can roll around 15% base crit.
  • Sceptres grant base Spirit and roll aura-like modifiers.
  • Quarterstaves replace Warstaves and are completely separate from Staves.
  • Staves provide a spell skill as an implicit, have no attack stats, and are 4x1 in size.
  • Wands have no attack stats.

Introduced four new weapon types:

  • Spears - hybrid melee/ranged attack weapons
  • Crossbows - grant a skill that dynamically changes effects based on socketed Bolt skills
  • Traps - determines throw speed and detonation type for trap skills
  • Flails - new melee strength/intelligence weapon with medium base crit chance (~10%)

Each base type will have a Unique version at release that closely ties with the base item's visual identity. Iconic POE1 uniques such as Shavronne's Wrappings or Headhunter will be adapted for POE2 with new modifiers or base types.

Gold: Gold drops throughout the game and can be used for buying or gambling items at vendors. Gold has proximity auto-pickup similar to Azurite.

Currency: Orb of Fusing, Orb of Alteration, and Orb of Scouring have been removed from the game. Chaos Orb now removes one random modifier and then adds a new random modifier, similar to Harvest Craft behaviour.

The Crafting Bench has also been removed. To compensate, vendors now sell significantly more magic and rare items, and the modifier pools on items have been updated to make relevant stats more common.

Item rarity: Item Rarity now affects currency drops, making bosses and unique monsters a good source of rare currency.

Flasks: Flasks stats are more reactive in effect rather than granting constant buffs. Quicksilver Flasks are removed. A "Guard Flask" provides effects similar to and replaces guard skills. A "Well" object can be found in towns. Clicking on on it will refill your flasks.
