How to Get The Horadric Cube in D2R

D2R Horadric Cube Location

Horadric Cube can be obtained at Halls of the Dead (Level 3) by finding it in a chest in Halls of the Dead (Level 3). Horadric Cube is related to The Horadric Staf, Khalim’s Will and The Blackened Temple quest.

Location: Halls of the Dead (Level 3) The Halls of the Dead is a dungeon in the Dry Hills. The Horadric Cube can be found on the third level.

To progress from Act 2 to Act 3 you’ll need a Horadric Staff, and in order to make said staff, you need the Horadric Cube to recombine its parts into a whole item. In order to get the cube, you’ll explore the Halls of the Dead in the Dry Hills, which is just as inviting as it sounds, what with being jam packed full of undead including Mummies who aren’t pleasant fellows to deal with. At the bottom layer of the Halls, level 3, you’ll find the Horadric Cube in a chest guarded by the nearby Super Unique Huntress (a Lacuni, or cat-person) named Bloodwitch the Wild and her pack.

Kill them, grab the cube, and head back to Deckard Cain with it.

 You will need the Horadric Cube to craft other Quest Items that are required for the completion of many quests and events:

Quests Items

  • The Horadric Staff: Combine the Staff of Kings and the Amulet of the Viper to create the Horadric Staff.
  • Khalim’s Will: Combine Khalim’s Eye, Khalim’s Brain, Khalim’s Heart and Khalim’s Flail to create Khalim’s Will (Item).

Events

  • Secret Cow Level: Combine Wirt’s Leg and the Tome of Town Portal while standing on the Rogue Encampment to open a portal to the Secret Cow Level.
  • Pandemonium Event: Combine the Key of Destruction, the Key of Hate and the Key of Terror while standing in Harrogath to open a portal to Matron’s Den, Furnace of Pain or the Forgotten Sands.
  • Pandemonium Event (Last Map): Combine Baal’s Eye, Diablo’s Horn and Mephisto’s Brain while standing in Harrogath to open a portal to Uber Tristram.
