Mount Gelmir is a Location in Elden Ring. It is found on a pillar in front of the Road of Iniquity Site of Grace.

Players can start the quest to find the Mt. Gelmir in the central Altus Plateau. Once you find the map for Altus Plateau, follow the main road to the northwest. From here, you’ll eventually reach a bridge that brings you to Mt. Gelmir. You can find a Somber Smithing Stone (6) here as well as some new crafting materials, like Volcanic Stone.
Keep following the Site of Grace guidance to the northwest. You will once again cross a bridge that brings you to the foot of the mountain. Here, you will rematch the Grafted Scion, who you need to defeat it in order to ascend the multiple ladders that brings you to one of the toughest bosses in Elden Ring.
This boss is called the Full-Grown Fallingstar Beast and takes several minutes to defeat. However, if you want to skip it, then take the windstream with Torrent up and to the right. From here, you’ll find a rock jutting out of the Beast’s pit. Take it down and then head straight immediately. Keep descending the rocks, carefully, until you reach the ground level.
Be careful here, though, as there are Hands ready to attack you. Go to the left when you’re down here and you will see the pillar with the map of Mt. Gelmir on it. Quickly grab it and head down and to the left to reach the Road of Iniquity Site of Grace.
To reach Mt Gelmir you can use a secret path in the Atlas Plateau. To get to this path make your way to the Erdtree-Gazing Hill Site of Grace which is located along the western boarder of the Atlas Plateau. This is the second Site of Grace after the Abandoned Coffin Site of Grace from the mountain pass. If you used the Grand Lift of Dectus head directly north from that location and you will reach the Site of Grace that way.
Once you are at the Erdtree-Gazing Hill Site of Grace look to the north to see statue on the cliffside. Go to the statue. From the statue turn to the west. Go west through Wyndham Ruins and you will see a river path behind it going to the north. Along the river is a Site of Grace. This Site of Grace is Seethewater River.
You are technically now in the Mt Gelmir section of the world. From here keep heading north along the river. The path to the summit is fairly long, but rather obvious. At the peek you will find the Volcano Manor.
Important: Keep in mind there is a very hard two boss fight in this section so I wouldn’t recommend this route.
In the Academy of Raya Lucario there is a special Abductor Virgin enemy. This enemy is accessible by riding the waterwheel next to the Schoolhouse Classroom Site of Grace to the very bottom. At the bottom the Abductor Virgin is waiting for you. During the fight let the Abductor Virgin defeat you and you will be transported to the Subterranean Inquisition Chamber. After the bosses are defeated you will emerge above teh Seethewater River Site of Grace.
