How to use Divination Scarab of Curation?

Can be used in a personal Map Device to add modifiers to a Map.

How to get it?

  • It is now world drops. If you want to target specific Scarabs, Betrayal has been updated to include most of them!
  • Scarabs Atlas Passives can increase Scarabs drop chances. For example, Significant Troves grants “Unique Monsters in your Maps have 200% increased chance to drop Scarabs”.
  • Veiled Scarab currency reveals a random Scarab when clicked.
  • Divination cards. For example, A set of four The Card Sharp cards can be exchanged for a random Divination Scarab.

PoE Divination Scarab of Curation

The Divination Scarab of Curation in Path of Exile offers a unique way to target specific divination cards. Here’s how it works:

  • Boosted Card Quantity (Conditional): You’ll gain a 10% increased chance to find divination cards for every different Favoured Map you have selected on your Atlas.
  • Targeted Drops: Divination cards that would normally drop in the area are replaced by cards associated with your Favoured Maps.

Maximizing Curation:

  • Strategic Favoured Maps: Choose Favoured Maps that have divination cards you specifically desire.
  • Diversity is Key: The more different Favoured Maps you select, the higher the overall bonus to card quantity becomes.

Example:

  • You have 3 Favoured Maps selected:
    • Map A with Card X
    • Map B with Card Y
    • Map C with Card Z
  • Using the Scarab of Curation:
    • You get a 10% chance increase for Card X (from Map A).
    • You get a 10% chance increase for Card Y (from Map B).
    • You get a 10% chance increase for Card Z (from Map C).
    • Additionally, normal card drops are replaced by a chance for Card X, Y, or Z.

Important Notes:

  • No Stacking Bonus: The 10% increase per Favoured Map doesn’t stack multiplicatively. It’s a cumulative bonus.
  • Rare Favoured Maps: Consider using the scarab with maps that have valuable divination cards, but might have a naturally lower card drop rate.

Alternatives:

  • Divination Scarab: Grants a flat 150% increased chance to find divination cards, a good all-purpose option for boosting overall card acquisition.
  • Nemesis Modifier: The “Nemesis” map modifier increases the quantity and quality of divination card drops.
