Problem: Damage taken recouped as life is a relatively new recovery option, and there are not currently enough sources of it available for players who wish to invest heavily in it.
Solution: Incrementally improve the availability of this stat by adding it to the jewel modifier pool.
Recoup is a term used to describe modifiers that recover some of the damage taken from hits as energy shield, life, or mana over 4 seconds.
This modifier causes all incoming Hit damage you taken to be Recouped as Life, meaning that you will recover 25% of the Damage taken per second over 4 seconds. This can be modified with modifiers to Life Recovery Rate, such as the Soul of Arakaali and Trickster’s Patient Reaper, reducing the duration it takes to fully recoup.
This mod has good synergy with Petrified Blood, allowing you to offset the damage received over 4 seconds from this Buff with Recoup, effectively mitigating 40% of damage taken from hits with Superior Quality.
