To Unsocket a piece of equipment you will need a Hel rune and a scroll of town portal. Place the socketed item with the Hel rune + the scroll of town portal into the Horadric cube and press the convert button. Pop Achievement.

For this trophy, you will want to remove the socketed gems/runes from the item. In order for you to do so, you need an item that you want to take the gems/runes out of place in the cube and add the following below to get the trophy to pop.

Note** – This trophy is missable as the game tells you NOTHING about how to craft ANYTHING outside of a quiver of bolts and a quiver of arrows and 1 socketed sword in the cube. Without a guide, It is a literal experimentation method that helps figure it out.

1. 1 Hel rune 
2. 1 scroll of town portal 
3. Weapon/armor you want to remove the socketed gems/runes from

Press transmute and the trophy should pop!
