Corpsefire is a Super Unique zombie guarding the Den of Evil. He is the first super unique of the game, and as such, will always drop two items of magical quality or above. He can be considered a little mini-boss, as he is likely the first Super Unique a player encounters when starting out with Diablo II.

Quest: Corpsefire and all of the other monsters in the Den of Evil must be killed to finish the quest.
Comments: On the Hell difficulty, Corpsefire has high physical resistance and often possesses the “Physical Immune” attribute. This made him a special challenge in earlier versions of the game, since he had to be killed to finish this quest, and since so few monsters were Physical Immune back then.
