Sister Cassia can anoint your blighted map to increase the ease of combat, and/or to increase rewards. It is easy to self-sustain oils for these anointments because blighted maps provide a large number of oils upon successful completion. Generally, the higher the tier of the oil, the greater its effects.

• Amber Oil, Sepia Oil, Clear Oil: Grant "25% reduced Cost of Building and Upgrading Towers" and "Towers deal 25% more Damage", and "12% reduced Monster Movement Speed" respectively. These oils reduce the difficulty of the encounter and may be useful for those who are struggling to successfully clear a blighted map. Generally, Sepia Oil will be be more useful early on in the encounter (due to low resources at the beginning and often an excess near the end) while Amber Oil will be more effective throughout the encounter. Due to its modifier’s lower magnitudes, Clear Oil tends to be the weakest of them all.

• Teal Oil: Grants "Blight Monsters spawn 30% faster, Encounter duration is 50 seconds shorter". Teal Oil reduces the time required to complete the encounter while making it more difficult. May be useful for those seeking "profit per hour" strategies trying to make the most of their time, if they are up to the greater challenge.

• Verdant Oil: Grants "45% increased Experience gain". This oil neither enhances the rewards of the encounter nor decreases the difficulty, but increases the experience gain. Not recommended for those running blighted maps for the rewards. Recommended to save for blight-ravaged maps, if used at all as blight-ravaged maps will grant more experience.

• Indigo Oil, Black Oil, Golden Oil, Crimson Oil, Violet Oil, Silver Oil, Azure Oil, Opalescent Oil: These oils all increase the rewards given by the encounter. Generally, as the tier of the oil increases, the more they increase a blighted map’s rewards. It is recommended to save the especially rare oils, like Golden Oils, for blight-ravaged maps, where their effects may be better appreciated.
