Torchlight: Infinite will launch a new season, “Whispering Mist,” on April 18th.
In the new season, hunters can obtain Infection Progress by defeating Mistville Residents and proceed to Mistville through the Mistville Trader to become a mist detective, experiencing a series of bizarre and mysterious folklore events. After completing the folklore challenges, hunters will have a chance to obtain the mysterious item of this season – “Activation Medium”!
Activation Medium is a new type of support skill added in the Whispering Mist season. It can help hunters automatically trigger active skills and even bring additional special effects to active skills. In the new season, different Activation Mediums have different effects and trigger conditions, allowing every hunter the opportunity to free their hands!
The cat generator is here! With the help of Ember technology, Lightning Shadow Erika runs with sparks and lightning, gaining faster movement speed and higher damage! She can record the highest shock damage dealt within a certain period into her homemade “Feline Figure,” which has a chance to appear when Erika hits an enemy, shocking all enemies within range!
Multiple optimization items are now live, addressing pain points: Build codes and filter codes are now cross-server compatible, Help manual iteration, early game process acceleration, one-click pick up for stackable items of the same type, free trial of all hero traits when purchasing a manual… Crow is working hard to bring hunters a better experience!

[Gameplay] Whispering Mist Season-exclusive Gameplay Added
[Gameplay] Twinightmare gameplay has been integrated into the core gameplay and will no longer be a regular feature. Additionally, corresponding Trait and Confusion Cards have been added.
[Gameplay] In the God of Machines gameplay, monsters that appear have had their special fluorescent drops removed.
[Gameplay] The number of activations required to obtain the last Talent Node in the Avarice Code from the Cube of Rapacity gameplay has been adjusted from 380 to 120.
[Gameplay] Introducing the new endgame mode – Trial of Divinity. Players will obtain corresponding entry tickets (Divinity Emblems) by participating in the God of War, God of Might, Goddess of Hunting, and God of Machines gameplay modes. Combine a specific number of the four types of entry tickets to enter the Trial of Divinity mode at the Spacetime Wanderer. The mode features 50 difficulty levels, and players can choose to challenge a certain number of levels based on their strength before leaving the gameplay area to wait for the mode to end and claim rewards.
In addition to regular drops and Legendary Gear drops, the main loot in the Trial of Divinity is Divinity Stones, which can be exchanged for corresponding rewards at the Blessings from Gods of the Spacetime Wanderer.
At the same time, we have removed the Avarice Bounty from the Cube of Rapacity. Players will now receive Divinity Stones instead of Desire Beads when participating in the Cube gamepla, which can also be exchanged for rewards at the Blessings from Gods.

In order to increase the value of dropped gear and make the gear growth and crafting process more phased, we have made the following adjustments to the rare gear and gear crafting system:
Under normal circumstances, the maximum plasticity of rare gear is 100.
Rare gear with an item level of 100 has 200 plasticity, but can only be obtained through corresponding Trait Card drops.
T0 affixes will only appear in rare gear with an item level of 100.
Increased the drop rate of gear with 1-3 T1 affixes.
Now, the Prototype Crafting function can only be used on gear with an item level of 70 or higher. The affix upgrade function is unlocked after completing the Chapter 2 Main Quest [Gear Crafting].

In the previous season, the damage upper limit applied to the calculated value of each instance of damage, meaning that the calculated result of each damage instance could not exceed 100 billion.
In the new season, we will adjust the damage upper limit mechanism to:
Within the same frame, for the same enemy, damage originating from the same player (including the player’s minions, sentries, etc.) is divided according to damage type. All damage of the same type shares an upper limit.
Damage types include: On Hit Damage, Secondary Damage, Damage Over Time, Life Removal (including Reaping and Reap Purification), and Injury Buffer.
The upper limit for each type of damage is 500 billion per frame.
“Dealing additional damage to life” will no longer allow damage to break through the upper limit.

Restoration skills now have a Charging Progress development. When the Charging Progress reaches 15, 1 charging point is replenished. Gain 1/3/6/100 Charging Progress when defeating Normal/Magic/Rare/Boss enemies.
In the Spell Skill panel, “Cast Interval” has been changed to “Cast Speed,” measured in casts per second. For example: The cast speed of Ice Lances is 1.54 casts/second.
