Since the captured Monsters in Bestiary can be traded, you can now trade for the amulet craft at your leisure.
A talisman is a type of amulet. Talismans have their own implicit modifiers that are typically more powerful than those of ordinary amulets. Talismans are inherently corrupted, and therefore cannot be modified with crafting orbs. Non-unique talismans over ilvl 67 typically drop with a random anoint.
