Orbala's Stand prevents suppressed spell damage from stunning you and debilitates monsters when you suppress their spell damage. Consider combining this with some of the newly reworked Spell Suppression Masteries for some great synergy.
Orbala’s Stand can drop anywhere. It can be chanced.
Debilitate is a debuff that causes affected targets to deal 10% less damage and have 20% less movement speed.
Whenever a player or monster takes damage from a hit, there is a chance they will be stunned. A stun interrupts whatever that creature was doing while a brief animation is played. Neither damage over time nor reflect can cause stun.
The chance to stun is based off the damage done in a single hit compared to the target’s maximum life. The default length of stuns is 350ms. A significantly long stun duration (700+ ms) will also display a swirling circle above the character or monster.
Evading an attack prevents all damage from the attack and other harmful effects including ailments and stun. Spells do not normally check for evasion. The chance to evade an attack is based on the defender’s evasion rating, though the actual chance to be hit by an attack also depends on the attacker’s accuracy.
Movement speed (often referred to as MS) is a modifier to the base speed a creature can run.
Body armours and shields induce movement speed penalties when equipped. The exact penalty can differ depending on the base item type, but in general strength armour has greater penalties than dexterity and intelligence armour.
There is no cap on movement speed.
Movement speed is beneficial for characters that employ evasion as the primary form of damage reduction, since it requires a play style where physically avoiding enemy spells and attacks is often necessary.
