Blood Price is a unique Reaver Helmet. Category: Helmet. Quality: +20%. Armour: (237.6-279.6).
Requires Level 40, 85 Str.
Flavour Text: An eye for an eye makes the whole world dead. |
Blood Price is a unique helmet that has a new effect: reserving enemy maximum life. “Reserves 8% of Nearby Enemy Monsters’ Life” does exactly what it implies, causing nearby enemies to start at 92% maximum life. While this increases your clear speed against all enemies, it’s especially useful against bosses.
The helmet’s drawback is that it reduces your maximum life, but provides decent life regeneration and block and stun recovery to counteract this.
It follows the same reservation rules that are on players, so it will not heal enemies.
No, this does not stack. The 8% reservation only occurs once.
Life (also called Health or Hit Points) is the health source of a character or monster. For the player it is shown as a red orb in the lower left of the screen and will decrease when receiving damage. Characters die when they reach 0 life and must be resurrected in town. Players can restore life by using flasks, gaining life regeneration from passive skills and equipment, or leeching life from enemies, among other mechanics. Life is fully restored upon entering a town. Light radius is based on current life.
Regeneration is a form of recovery that automatically restores life, mana or energy shield over time.
Whenever a player or monster takes damage from a hit, there is a chance they will be stunned. A stun interrupts whatever that creature was doing while a brief animation is played. Neither damage over time nor reflect can cause stun.
Blocking is a layer of defense that will entirely prevent damage from an enemy hit unless modified by some outside effect like Glancing Blows. The chance to block is a random roll made per attack/cast. Block is capped by default at 75%. Characters do not have any base block.
Causing nearby enemies to start at 92% maximum life.
While this increases your clear speed against all enemies, it’s especially useful against bosses.
For example, The Elder boss starts at 92% maximum life.
