“Violence and Timing” is the tenth mission in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II single-player campaign. During this mission, you will accompany Price and a small team to rescue Laswell from Hassan’s men.
This Violence and Timing walkthrough explains all the tasks you need to complete this mission.
During the first part of this mission, you will be inside a chopper. Your job will be to provide areal support to the team on the ground.
Use your rifle to kill any enemies on sight. You can hide inside the helicopter to recover your health if you need to. There’s also an ammo backpack next to you.
Some of the enemies will be heavily armored, so aim for the head and do it quickly, as they usually have weapons that can take down the helicopter you’re in.
Eventually, a missile will hit the helicopter, making you fall and hang upside down from a rope.
You will need to use your pistol to kill any threats. Eventually, you will be given the option to cut the rope to free yourself, do it quickly, or you will die shortly after.
You will now be on top of a cargo truck. Kill the enemies on the truck to your right and jump there to hijack the vehicle.
Now that you have a vehicle, you must find a balance between driving to the front of the convoy and killing enemies.
You should drive as fast as you can to keep driving forwards, and when you have enough momentum, lean out and shoot any nearby enemies.
If the vehicle you’re in takes enough damage, you will need to hijack another one quickly before the one you’re in explodes. A good tip is to change vehicles as soon as the “vehicle’s health” gets to 50%.
When hijacking new vehicles, aim for the smaller ones, like pick-up trucks, as those move faster than the bigger ones.
The rest of the mission is a combination of shooting enemies, hijacking vehicles to get closer to Laswell’s position, and avoiding land mines.
Sometimes you will need to do other things like jumping to the vehicle Price is or using a grenade launcher to kill nearby enemies.
At some point during this chase, you will encounter an APC with enemies that shoot at you and leave land mines.
To neutralize this threat, move out of the way of the laser coming out of the APC and avoid driving over the mines. Do this until you get closer to the vehicle, jump to it, kill the enemy that comes out and plant a charge.
Afterward, you will need to return to the vehicle where Price is.
Once the vehicle stops, get down and kill any enemies in the area. When the area is secure, walk over to the black truck to rescue Laswell and end the mission.
