“Prison Break” is the fourteenth mission in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II single-player campaign. You will rescue Alejandro and the remaining Vaqueros from Grave’s hands during this mission. However, this means infiltrating into a highly guarded prison, so you better come prepared.
This Prison Break walkthrough explains all the tasks you need to complete this mission.
Walk forward with your team until you reach a couple of enemies. Take down the one on the top of the tower first, and Ghost will take another.
Ghost will proceed to clear the area with your assistance. Afterward, get close and go up the tower using the ascender.
Follow Ghost inside the tower and climb down the ladder. Then move forward to the building where the security room is and open the door, kill the enemies inside and get control over the CCTV.
Using the cameras, you will guide Ghost through the enemy-infested area. You can tell him where to move and when and how to kill enemies. Make sure to use different cameras to get different angles of the same area and spot all the threats.
Along the way, he will be able to plant bombs in certain vehicles, which will be helpful later.
Sometimes you will be able to sabotage lights to break off groups of mercenaries. Doing so will make it easier to kill them off one by one.
Once Ghost plants the fourth and final bomb, this mission segment will be over.
Head outside with Rodolfo, and Ghost will meet you guys shortly after. Keep moving with your team and clear the area.
The door to the prison cells is locked so wait until Rodolfo knocks to lure the enemy out. Head inside the cell’s area and clear it.
Head upstairs.
Kill the enemies guarding Alejandro’s cell. Ghost will open the door to his cell. Head inside to free the Colonel.
Now it’s time to head upstairs to free the rest of the Vaqueros. Follow the team up the stairs and clear the hallway.
This time there will be enemies with Riot Shields. Aiming at their feet or using grenades works best with these enemies.
Clear the hallway and move forward. Go to the control panel on your left and press the big red button to open the cells.
If you need it, there’s an ammo crate next to the control panel.
Keep moving down the hallway and drop down to what looks like an indoor courtyard.
Enemies will come out from everywhere, and you will need to clear the area with the help of your team.
Once the area is safe, go to the door where your team has gathered and wait until Ghost opens it.
Head inside and head downstairs, following Alejandro. More enemies will be waiting for you guys outside. Use the cars as cover and clear the area.
Move forward. A pick-up truck loaded with enemies will appear. Just detonate the bomb Ghost planted earlier to neutralize the threat.
Now turn left.
Detonate the second truck and kill any enemy in the area. Enter the building on your left, an armored enemy will come through the doors, kill it and keep moving forward.
You will now be in the inmate’s yard. Clear the area and keep pushing forward.
A Helicopter will come out of nowhere, but Price will appear and take care of it for you. Move towards the green flare and use the ascender to get to Price’s position.
From there, start clearing the area as soon as enemies appear. You will be able to detonate two more vehicles.
We recommend you take a moment to go to your right and enter the tower, kill the enemies inside and take the REV G-80 mounted on the wall. This weapon will help with armored vehicles.
There’s also a Signal 50 in that room. You can use it once you’re done with the vehicles to kill the snipers. Eventually, you will be told you guys are good to go, so descend down the wall to get out of the prison.
