“Hardpoint” is the eighth mission in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II single-player campaign. Like the last one, This mission takes place inside a helicopter that provides air support to the team on the ground. This time you will make sure Hassan is escorted back to base with no problems, but the cartel has other plans.

The first part of Hardpoint makes you scan the area to find possible threats. Once you can move the plane’s camera, you need to find the gas station to the north and zoom in to confirm visual on the team.
Zoom in and scan the people there to check if there are any cartel members. Next, scan the Market.
You must pay attention to which building is which because later on in the mission, Graves gives detailed instructions on what to do in each building. Below you will find a map of the area with the name of each building.
Once the team starts moving, they will be ambushed by a car that crashes into their truck. A bunch of enemies will come out of nearby buildings, and you will be free to engage. Just stay away from civilians.
Your job now will be to defend the team (who will now be on the restaurant’s roof) until the extraction team gets there.
It would be best if you prioritized RPG enemies, followed by the ones who are closer to the team.
At some point, cartel member will start firing missiles at your position; you can launch flares to defend yourself. After a missile is neutralized, you will need to see who is firing them and kill them as fast; otherwise, they will keep trying to hit you.
Defend the team and yourself with everything you have and not hold back on buildings. Just stay away from the church, as there might be civilians inside.
Hold on until the extraction team arrives. Once the team is safe inside the helicopters, the mission will end.
