“Cartel Protection” is the sixth mission in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II single-player campaign. This mission sees Ghost and Soap collaborating with Mexican Special Forces to enter Las Almas territory and find Hassan.

Now that Ghost and Soap are in Mexico, it’s time to retrieve Hassan from a cartel-protected safehouse.
Once you control Soap, follow the team through the streets, several enemies will come out of nearby houses, deal with them and keep moving.
Open the white door and head inside the house. A couple of enemies will be waiting for you there, so proceed with caution.
Clear the first floor and exit the house through the kitchen door. Wait until the area is filled with smoke and head outside to search the next home, kill all enemies inside, and head upstairs. Clear the second floor and grab the ammo on the table if you need to.
Hassan isn’t in the house, and to make things worse, the part of the Mexican army that’s paid off by the cartel is here. Hold your fire until the army men get close and start shooting. This segment is easier to complete if you’re using a Sniper Rifle. There’s a RAPP H lying against the wall by the windows if you need it.
Once the army men get close open fire, some are heavily armored so aim for the head and use grenades on those with shields. After the gas bomb hits the building you’re in, you will need to get out of there as soon as possible, so jump through the window Alejandro opened.
You will start escaping down the mountain, but eventually, the army catches up to you. Use the rocks as cover and deal with all the enemies. Keep following Alejandro down the mountain until the enemies catch up to you again. Take cover and clear the area.
Follow Alejandro once more through the cliffs, enemies will find you again, but there’s no time to engage, so keep moving until you have no choice but to jump down to the water. Now that you’re in the water, you must swim, following Alejandro to the bridge. Some enemies will be waiting for you on the land, so dive down or use the rocks as cover and deal with them.
After clearing the area, dive down the fallen tree and engage with the enemies in this new area. Move a little forward until you see the bridge. You must hold your position until air support takes down the bridge.
Now that the bridge is down follow Alejandro and enter the truck to complete the mission.
