“Borderline” is the fifth mission in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II single-player campaign. This mission begins with Laswell calling Colonel Alejandro Vargas to ask for his help finding Hassan on the US border with Mexico.
This Borderline walkthrough contains a detailed step-by-step guide of all the tasks you need to complete this mission.
Borderline starts at the border between Mexico and The United States. Once you gain control over Rodolfo, follow your partner through the trail.
When you get to the wall, turn off your flashlight, so the enemies won’t see you coming. Kill everyone and then climb the wall using the ladder to follow Hassan.
On the other side of the wall, keep following Alejandro until you get to a house’s fence. Wait till Alejandro opens the door and keep following him.
While going through the houses, you will see a lot of angry civilians, do not shoot at them and try to de-escalate the situation instead.
Keep following Alejandro and de-escalating civilians until you get to an alley, hide behind the van, and turn off your flashlight, so the guys in the pick-up truck don’t spot you.
Use the van as cover and kill the enemies coming out of the second pick-up.
Once it’s clear, keep following Alejandro inside a house and kill any civilian that starts shooting.
Get out of that house, and the police will intercept you, conceal your weapon and walk towards them.
After a few seconds, the police car explodes, and cartel guys will get into the area. Kill the first wave of them and then use the car as cover while you wait for the cartel thugs to get closer to shoot them.

Kill the enemies on the garage’s roof and clear the whole area, then get inside the house and clear the first floor.
Go up the stairs and secure the second floor. You want to open the second door in the corridor from right to left.
A cutscene will start where Hassan and his men set the house on fire. Once the cutscene is over, this mission will end.
