FFXIV Crafters Scrips and Gatherers’ Scrips

1. Crafters’ and gatherers’ scrips[2.x 4.x 5.x 6.x]

The following additions and adjustments have been made to crafters’ and gatherers’ scrips:

Yellow Crafters’ Scrips and Gatherers’ Scrips

No longer obtainable from completion of quests and levequests.

All activities which yielded yellow crafters’ or gatherers’ scrips will now yield white crafters’ and gatherers’ scrips.

* Yellow crafters’ and gatherers’ scrips can now be exchanged for white crafters’ and gatherers’ scrips at the scrip exchange in Revenant’s Toll (X:22.4 Y:6.7).

Can no longer be used for item exchanges.

Items currently obtained with yellow crafters’ and gatherers’ scrips will be obtainable with white crafters’ and gatherers’ scrips respectively by speaking with the scrip exchange, with some exceptions which are listed below.

• Craftable items
  * These items can still be synthesized after Patch 6.0.
• Goblin Cups and Goblin Dice
  * With the release of Patch 6.0, these items will become unobtainable but can still be exchanged for equipment and materia by speaking with Grinmox in Idyllshire (X:6.6 Y:7.4).

Red Crafters’ Scrips and Gatherers’ Scrips

Red crafters’ scrips and red gatherers’ scrips have been removed.

White Crafters’ Scrips and Gatherers’ Scrips

The number of white crafters’ and gatherers’ scrips required in exchange for items has been adjusted.

2. Purple crafters’ scrip and purple gatherers’ scrip[6.x]

Purple crafters’ scrip and purple gatherers’ scrip currencies have been added for Disciples of the Hand and Disciples of the Land that are level 90.

Players can begin exchanging their collectable items for these scrips at Splendors Exchanges starting at level 90 and can have up to a maximum of 2,000 at any given time.

3. The following adjustments have been made to scrip tokens[2.x]

Blue Crafters’ Scrip Tokens

No longer obtainable from the splendors vendor NPC in Idyllshire (X:5.7 Y:7.2).

Tokens are still obtainable via the Token Exchange option.
* The announcement released on Monday, October 18, 2021 stated that blue crafters’ scrip tokens would no longer be obtainable from NPCs. However, after reconsidering their overall impact on game balance, the decision to remove them completely has been reversed.

Can no longer be used for gear exchanges.

Gear currently obtained in exchange for blue crafters’ scrip tokens can be obtained using white crafters’ scrips.

Blue Gatherers’ Scrip Tokens

No longer obtainable from the splendors vendor NPC in Idyllshire (X:5.7 Y:7.2).

Tokens are still obtainable via the Token Exchange option.

Can no longer be used for gear exchanges.

Gear currently obtained in exchange for blue gatherers’ scrip tokens can be obtained using white gatherers’ scrips.

Red Crafters’ Scrip Tokens and Gatherers’ Scrip Tokens

Can no longer be used for item exchanges.

4. It is now possible to submit collectable fish with a low collectability rating to the House of Splendors. Experience points and scrips rewarded upon submission will be adjusted accordingly. [2.x 4.x 5.x]

No changes have been made to the scaling of rewards based on collectability.

5. The amount and type of crafters’ and gatherers’ scrips received from custom deliveries have been adjusted.[2.x 4.x 5.x]

6. The following items are no longer available as high quality:[2.x 4.x 5.x]

• Items purchased in exchange for crafters’ scrips and gatherers’ scrips.

7. The following additions and adjustments have been made to ocean fishing:[2.x 6.x]

In accordance with the increase in level cap, the rewards granted based on player level have been adjusted.

Level 50-89

• Experience points
• White Gatherers’ Scrips

Level 90

• White Gatherers’ Scrips
• Purple Gatherers’ Scrips (certain conditions must be met to obtain this reward)

8. Studium Deliveries have been added

Because Studium Delivery quest rewards include crafters’ scrips and gatherers’ scrips, players must first complete the quest “Inscrutable Tastes” before undertaking deliveries.

9. Sundry Splendors, a one-stop shop for gear and items purchased in exchange for Allagan tomestones and scrips, has been added to the Crystarium.

The shop is unlocked after completing the main scenario quest “Shadowbringers.”

10. To improve functionality of the scrip exchange window, categories have been reorganized in a new interface according to scrip type and level range, allowing players to more easily specify a desired item exchange.
