FFXIV 6.3 Deep Dungeon #3

FFXIV 6.3 Deep Dungeon #3

FFXIV 6.3 Deep Dungeon #3

The third Deep Dungeon, Eureka Orthos, will be added in Patch 6.35.

It’ll be useful for leveling between level 81 and 90, and its rules and functionality will generally be the same as the other deep dungeons. That said, there will be some unique aspects to Eureka Orthos, which we hope to showcase in the next Letter LIVE.

Do note that completion of the main scenario quest “Endwalker” and up to Floor 50 of Palace of the Dead will be required to enter. Deep Dungeon is unlike any other content, and this requirement is intended to have players get the gist of it by playing through the Palace of the Dead. Reaching Floor 50 of Palace of the Dead should be a relatively relaxed endeavor, so you may want to give it a try before Eureka Orthos is introduced.

During the broadcast, we explained what Deep Dungeon is for those unfamiliar, which may be helpful if you’re looking to get started.

Eureka Orthos

A new Deep Dungeon is on the way in patch 6.35, called Eureka Orthos. Players will have to complete both the base Endwalker MSQ and progress to floor 50 of Palace of the Dead in order to undertake Eureka Orthos. Yoshida says that players should view PotD as a “tutorial for the game mode.” He notes that because alt jobs can be levelled in the Deep Dungeon, you will also need to be level 81+ to enter. Murouchi also remarks on the recent completion of the ultra-hard FFXIV mode solo by a player on all the game’s base classes.

FFXIV 6.3 Deep Dungeon #3

This Deep Dungeon, titled Eureka Orthos, will be a lengthy dungeon with unique rogue-like elements. Every floor is procedurally generated, with unique mechanics and twists allocated to each one to make the experience exciting and unique to you. No role restrictions are in place, and you can play with up to 4 players.

Eureka Orthos, the New Deep Dungeon

One of the more anticipated pieces of content with FFXIV 6.3 is the next Deep Dungeon. It’s called Eureka Orthos and will be similar to how Palace of the Dead and Heaven-on-High work. These pieces of content are lengthy dungeons with some rogue-like elements consisting of hundreds of procedurally generated floors with their own mechanics and quirks. There are no role restrictions and you can enter with up to four players (although the difficulty does not change).

In order to take part in Eureka Orthos, players will need to have finished Endwalker MSQ and progressed up to floor 50 in Palace of the Dead. You can only enter with combat Jobs at level 81 or higher — like the other Deep Dungeons, this will be a good way to level up alternate Jobs. This will go live with Patch 6.35, so you’ll have to wait a bit after Patch 6.3 drops.

How to Get Manderium Meteorite in Final Fantasy XIV

Deep Dungeons are a great way to pass your time on this MMO. They can be stressful but also rewarding. A player just reached the #1 leaderboard on their server with each job in the game. A huge feat that even the producer mentioned during the live stream. Now, with the Final Fantasy 14 New Deep Dungeon on the horizon, we can’t wait to see what it’ll bring. However, we will have to wait for the next Live Letter, which promises to bring more news about this FFXIV Deep Dungeon and even more before patch 6.3 gets here.
