Enkindling Orb Guide

Enkindling Orb provides a boost to your utility flasks in exchange for preventing charge gain while they’re active. It is a new currency item in Path of Exile: Expedition. Adds an enchantment to a utility flask that will improve it but prevent it from gaining charges during its effect. Replaces any existing enchantment. It prevents Utility Flasks from gaining charges while active but provides a big boost to their effect, duration, or various ways they interact with their charges. There are various different types of boosts, so you can use more Orbs to reroll for the one you want. This item can be found as a drop throughout the game.

Enkindling Orbs improve almost every flask in some way regardless of which modifier you currently have.

Remove Flask Enchantments from Crafting Bench

Added a crafting bench recipe to remove Enchantments from an item. This recipe does not need to be unlocked and is always available. It costs three Orbs of Scouring.

It improves the strength of a flask buff. For example, Atziri's Promise grants + 35% to Chaos Resistance. 50% increased effect grants: +52.5% to Chaos Resistance.

Note that it will not affect these stats: Phasing, Onslaught, or Your Critical Strike Chance is Lucky. Because these stats are binary (i.e. enabled or disabled).

This is an example for Forbidden Taste. Adds enchantment: 90% increased Duration, Gains no Charges during Flask Effect.

Note that Glassblower's Bauble increases the quality of a flask, thus also increases the Flask effect duration.

(60–80)% increased Charge Recovery

Flask charges gained apply to the number of charges you get from killing a mob; flask charge recovery, which is on a flask, then multiplies the number of charges you gained.

They both do effectively the same thing; increase the rate of flask charge gain. But they are essentially multiplicative of each other.

You have 40% increased flask charges gained and a flask with 60% flask charge recovery. You kill a white mob. You get 1*1.4*1.6 = 2.24 charges. If you watch your charges go up, sometimes you get 2 and sometimes you get 3, so it keeps track of the decimals even if you don't see them directly.

(25–35)% reduced Charges used
