 The Earthbound A century ago, the Necromancer Sigmund plotted to use Vern’s abundant magick to turn the entire continent into his necromantic stronghold.
Death’s Hold Island housed one of his biggest laboratories.
After the war, a knight named Senadith and a few adventurers went on a quest together to collect the island’s magick core.
But by the time they had arrived, its magick core was already contaminated, and swarming with bloodthirsty spirits.
Senadith sacrificed himself at the last moment, sealing the magick core and preventing the Necromantic Energy on the island from spreading everywhere else.
And one of his adventurer companions at that time still remains on this cursed island, his sanity barely intact, to keep watch over it.
