Weekly competition matches are the 40 matches that you play each week that count towards your Battle Points score for that week.
Matches are separated into weekly competition matches and other matches. Any matches you play after the 40 weekly competition matches do not contribute towards your week’s score, but you will still earn normal match Coins and progress towards Objectives.
In FUT 22, Squad Battles matches can be played cooperatively. Once you invite a player using the Friends List found at the bottom right corner of the FUT Main Menu, and they accept, you can choose to play Squad Battles from the Co-Op Lobby.
The lobby Captain selects the opponent and difficulty level, but both players earn Battle Points and Coins in the same way as if they were playing Solo. If one of the two players in the Co-Op Lobby has no weekly competition matches remaining, neither player will earn Battle Points upon the completion of a match.
