Zinc Ingots: Fortifying Your Fleet in Skull and Bones
In Skull and Bones, Zinc Ingots are a valuable Refined Metal material used to craft mid-tier to high-tier ship upgrades and some specialized equipment. They offer a distinct advantage over readily available materials like Wrought Iron Bars, allowing you to refine your ship’s capabilities for optimal performance.
Acquiring Zinc Ingots:
There are several ways to obtain Zinc Ingots:
Refining Zinc Ore: This is the primary method. Zinc Ore can be found in mining nodes scattered throughout the game world, particularly in the northwestern regions near the Silverwood Coast and the Skullstone Archipelago. Mine these nodes with your Pickaxe and head to a Refinery to transform the ore into Zinc Ingots.
Salvaging: Dismantling high-tier metal equipment, especially ship parts obtained from challenging enemies or completing difficult naval contracts, has a chance of yielding Zinc Ingots.
Trading: Certain merchants and outposts, particularly those specializing in industrial materials, may sell Zinc Ingots. However, their stock is often limited, and the prices can be high.
Completing quests: Some mid-tier to high-level quests and contracts, especially those focused on resource gathering or defeating powerful pirate fleets, can reward you with Zinc Ingots as part of their completion bonuses.
