Reaching the Kingpin rank in Skull and Bones doesn’t directly grant you a new, unique currency. The game utilizes four primary currencies:

Pieces of Eight: A rarer currency acquired through specific activities and used for acquiring high-value items on the black market.
Sovereigns: Unlocked upon reaching Kingpin rank, Sovereigns are used to purchase exclusive items from vendors.
Gold: Purchased with real money through the in-game store and used for primarily cosmetic purchases like ship and character customization.
Therefore, while becoming a Kingpin unlocks access to Sovereigns, it doesn’t introduce a completely new currency. Instead, it grants access to a specific purchasing power through Sovereigns, allowing you to acquire unique items unavailable with other currencies.
