“Strike” is the first mission you will play in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. This guide will detail every step of the mission so you’ll get through each task swiftly.
The first mission is there to teach you basic things in this game, like how to aim, shoot, walk, jump, etc.
“Strike” takes place in the United Republic of Adal, where Ghost, Shepherd, and Shadow Co need to take out a high-value target.
Once you get control over Ghost, keep moving forward until you reach some rock ledges, climb them up, and keep moving forward until you have eyes on the enemies.
Now that you’re in position use your Spotter Scope to count how many enemies are in the area.
Afterward, use the Spotter Scope to spot General Ghorbrani. He will be coming out of the big helicopter on the right.
Once you’ve located the General, mark the target to launch the missile attack.
Now that the attack is on its way, you will need to steer the missile, so it reaches the target. Remember to stay low and move the missile left and right following the canyon.
Once the target is destroyed, the mission will be over.

Ghost, who is controlled by the player is seen in a canyon, walking towards the open area where General Ghorbrani is making an arms deal with Russian Ground Forces. He waits for the dust to move on to mark the target. After doing so, the ballistic missile is launched from a truck and the player assumes the role of Graves, specifically the view and movement of the missile he launched. The missile then obliterates the target in a very wide radius. Ghost then is surprised and says “Bloody fucking hell.” and says that the target is destroyed.
