A Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 player creates an incredibly small sniper rifle using the game’s extensive Gunsmith feature.
A fan of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 used the Gunsmith feature to create an unbelievably small sniper rifle. Like the other games in the series, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 lets gamers use a wide variety of weapons and pieces of equipment. There are different types of guns with alternate fire modes within these categories, and users are able to fully customize their weapons thanks to the Gunsmith feature.
Gunsmith 2.0 lets Modern Warfare 3 players make the gun of their choice by giving them an impressive amount of flexibility and options. Users have already made interesting weapons using this feature, with one Modern Warfare 3 fan creating an accurate-looking MP5K. Now, another Call of Duty player has used Gunsmith 2.0 to make an incredibly small sniper rifle.
A Reddit user named TenaciousPix has shared an image of the small sniper rifle they created using the SA-B 50 bolt-action marksmen rifle in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. TenaciousPix claims that the Gunsmith feature allows fans to make some abominations and states that this new gun also belongs in that department. Players interested in trying out this weapon can check out all the attachments shown in the image.
It looks like this build may not be that bad, as one user claims to have encountered several players utilizing it in the Search and Destroy game mode in Modern Warfare 3. Other gamers seem to have experienced the same, as they report seeing people using this build along with a gold camouflage and the LA Thieves skin.
While the comments section is filled with players complimenting TenaciousPix’s build, one user believed that it was a shotgun before they read the headline. Fans have a few different shotguns to choose from in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, but the Lockwood 300 may be the best weapon in this category. It should be noted that Activision often releases updates that change weapon balance in Modern Warfare 3, so the in-game performance of the various guns is ever-changing.
Players can expect to see more unique builds as more gamers purchase MW3. As of now, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is the fastest-selling game in the Call of Duty franchise, surpassing the previous record held by 2011’s Modern Warfare 3. It surpassed $800 million in its opening weekend, and fans can expect it to be one of the best-selling games of 2022.
