PoE Manabond Build Hierophant

In fact, there is less than 0.1% of Path of Exile use this gem as the main damage skill. Among those players, 60% of players are Hierophant, 20% of players are Occultist, and 20% of players are Elementalist.

This is a Lightning spell skill. Therefore, recommend using these support gems: Lightning Penetration Support, Unleash Support, and Controlled Destruction Support. For a Level 93 Elementalist, the DPS is about 115K.

Manabond + Cyclone as the main skills is also recommended. For the best use of this skill, these skill gems are also recommended: Wrath, Arcane Cloak, Vaal Discipline, Discipline, Zealotry, Wave of Conviction, Sigil of Power.

For Hierophant, recommend using these passives: Pain Attunement, Arcane Blessing, Divine Guidance, Sanctuary of Thought.

PoE Manabond Skill Build 3.15

Manabond is a somewhat unusual gem in that its source of power relies on your current mana. Upon use, it creates a rune that explodes at the location you’re targeting. This explosion can either deal more damage or cover a larger area, depending on the state of your mana.

The more mana that’s missing from your mana pool, the more damage Manabond will deal as it converts a percentage of your missing mana into added lightning damage. The more full your mana pool is, the more area the explosion will cover.

This means that being adept at managing your mana pool becomes highly advantageous. For example, having slightly higher mana while clearing a map provides greater clear speed but when fighting tougher enemies, having a lower current mana amount is better.

Skill functions and interactions

Cost: Unlike most spells, Manabond costs a percentage of your maximum mana to cast, which is increased by support gem cost multipliers. Reserving a portion of your mana will not decrease the mana cost, since it is based on your total maximum mana unlike Archmage Support. This cost will still need to be paid if the spell is triggered but it can be bypassed by socketing Manabond in a Mjölner.

Four rectangular extensions: They are added to the four sides of the central area forming an X-pattern. Their length increases for every 25% of remaining unreserved maximum mana, up to 4 times at 100% remaining, which might require bypassing the skills mana cost.

Spell Totem Support: The totem will always cast the largest version of the spell, since it will be based on the totems maximum mana, which is always 0.
