The honor cap in WoW Season of Discovery is dependent on two factors:
Your current PvP rank: Each rank has a specific honor cap that determines how much honor you can earn before it stops contributing to your rank progression.
The current phase of Season of Discovery: The honor cap increases alongside the progression of phases, gradually allowing for higher rank achievements.
Current Situation (February 19, 2024):
Since we’re in Phase 2 of the season, the honor cap is as follows:
Rank 1-3: No cap (honor still contributes to weekly rank decay calculation)
Rank 4-8: 20,000 honor
Rank 9-14: Currently unavailable (these ranks are not yet accessible in Phase 2)
Important Notes:
Honor earned after reaching the cap still contributes to weekly rank decay calculation for ranks 1-3.
The honor cap may be adjusted in future phases as the season progresses.
No official information exists yet about honor caps for ranks 9-14, which will be released in later phases.
