The Red Prince is as devious as his parentage. He realized that money has no value but what we give it–that value is held not by the object, but by the Fae who wields it.

Crimson King Coin is a Quest Item in Remnant 2. Quest Items are used to unlock or advanced through certain quests or main story quests, as well as unlocking and discovering certain areas. Key Items are specifically found in specific areas of a Location, given by NPCs or looted from Enemies and Bosses.

How to Use Crimson King Coin in Remnant 2

Crimson King Coin is used in the following Quests or Location:

• Players can have up to Five Crimson King Coins. 
• They have to present them to The Red Prince in order to pay tribute to him and avoid fighting him. Regardless, he will kill the player, but grant them Bloody Steel Splinter when they re-appear at the checkpoint. The Red Prince will be gone as if he was faced.
• If players give The Red Prince less than three Crimson King Coins, he will consider it an insult and fight the player in the same way as if no tribute was given. 
• Extras can be farmed from the Teleport Fae that drops them, which still spawn after The Red Prince fight, and used on the Nightweaver’s Web for Relic Fragments
