PoE Act 3 Trial of Ascendancy Labyrinth Location

The (normal) Labyrinth

• The Crematorium, Act 3, contains furnace traps
• The Catacombs, Act 3, contains blade sentries
• The Imperial Gardens, Act 3, contains dart traps

The Crematorium

The Crematorium is an area in Act 3. This area has a waypoint and is connected to The Slums.

In this area, players can find Tolman for the quest Lost in Love. The aesthetics and layout are similar to the areas Lower Prison and Upper Prison, which are networks of prison cells and large open rooms, albeit with the walls and floors covered in ashes and cinder.

The boss room is distinguished by a pile of corpses covered with a tarp near the entrance. Farther in, players encounter Piety for the fourth time and must fight her and her guards. Piety uses powerful lightning spells, so lightning resistance is highly recommended. Once she is below 50% life, Piety escapes through a portal leaving you to deal with the rest of her forces. After taking care of the blackguards, the players can retrieve the quest item Tolman’s Bracelet.

The Catacombs

The Catacombs is an area in Act 3. This area does not have a waypoint and is connected to The Marketplace.

Similar to The Crypt Level 2, this area is a maze of rooms that ends at a large bridge. In rooms with bottomless pits, Ink Spinners will climb up from the darkness and attack players. Monsters deal primarily cold damage and necromancers use the curse Frostbite, so high cold resistance is strongly recommended.

The Imperial Gardens

The Imperial Gardens is an area in Act 3. This area has a waypoint and is connected to The Ebony Barracks, The Library, and The Sceptre of God.

A paved road runs from The Ebony Barracks to the waypoint, where it forks into a left path leading to The Library and a right path leading to The Sceptre of God. The roads are sometimes blocked by piles of rubble, forcing you into the garden area, but these can be crossed with Leap Slam or Lightning Warp.

The Chitus’ Plum and a Trial of Ascendancy are located in this area. The Trial usually located in the top left corner of the area, while the Plum tree is random.
