Earn FUT Champions Qualification Points in Division Rivals to get entrance to FUT Champions. You’ll be immediately entered into the Play-Offs after you’ve earned enough points, and your Champions run for that spot may begin whenever you’re ready.
The Champions Play-Offs are the first stage of the overall FUT Champions competition, and they last for about 6 weeks. On their own time, players go through a limited number of games, earning points towards champion ranks and rewards. These are given out at the conclusion of your Champions Play-Off run.
The FUT Champions Finals will take place on weekends, following the same format as the FC Weekend League. The Finals Qualification Token allows you to enter the competition whenever you choose.
A limited entrance system has been added to the Champions Qualification process, allowing you to choose when and how you compete in FUT Champions. You will have a limited number of attempts at the Champions Competition throughout each FUT season, which lasts about 6 weeks, with a single entry good for an attempt at the Champions Play-Offs and a Champions Final if you qualify.
With the addition of the Play-Offs and Finals, one of our objectives was to rebalance the awards across all competition stages while lowering the total match requirements. When you first enter the Play-Offs, you’re competing for the first round of rewards as well as a chance to advance to the Finals, where you can earn even more.
Your additional rewards will be determined by where you finish in the finals. You can claim your awards right now if you finish all of your matches in the finals. If you have any further matches to play, your awards will be given at the end of the competition based on your final standing.
Here is the type of rewards given to FUT Champions qualified players:
The matchmaking in FUT Champions matches are based on two factors:
When you first join FUT Champs finals, you are offered five matches to complete in order to be placed in the rankings. The results of these five matches, which are either a win, a loss, or a draw, are factored into your weekend matches. Players with similar results are paired in matchmaking. The second factor is location. To ensure quality matches, players are matched based on their geographical location and proximity to EA servers.
All release times are indicated in the UK time zone.

Champions is an online game mode that brings you the best head-to-head competition in the Ultimate Team. The most popular mode tests your skill across two stages of competition: the Play-Offs and the Finals.
The Champions Play-Offs are the first stage of the overall competition. You must join the required number of Champions Qualification Points to play it. The only way to do it is by playing Rivals and Champions itself.
There is a limited number of Play-Off entries per Season. This limit resets with the start of each new season, which usually occurs every six weeks.
The qualification for the Champions Finals is made by earning enough points in the Play-Offs. You can play up to ten matches, and as soon as you reach the qualification, you earn a token that you can use when you wish.
The Finals are the second stage of Champions. Each campaign is open for 72 hours, from Friday to Monday, and you can play up to twenty matches against other qualified players.
As in the Play-Offs, you get four points for each win and one for each loss. The more points you get, the highest you will rank (there are ten ranks), and the better your rewards.
Based on how many points you make on your Play-Offs and Finals, you receive rewards at the end of your campaign. The rewards can be packs, coins, and eventually Champions Player Picks.
