Maven’s Beacon: call the Maven to witness and affect this map’s boss encounter. Defeating the boss encounter will allow the Maven to replicate the fight in her own realm.
After running many maps, The Envoy will eventually make an appearance. This is totally random. After 4-5 appearances on various different maps, the Envoy will be highlighted and will mention that The Maven will be observing you. (Some players report that The Maven only first appears on Tier 5+ maps)
Kill the map boss, and as you can see The Maven is present in the boss arena and observing the battle.
After slaying the boss, The Maven will drop The Maven’s Beacon, which is an untradable quest item. Pick it up.
Return to your hideout and add the Maven’s Beacon into your Map Device by right-clicking the Beacon and clicking your Map Device. This permanently upgrades your Map Device, giving you the ability to summon The Maven on your maps.
Run the highest tier map you own within the same region, so that the Maven can observe the battle. Note that the Maven cannot witness unique map bosses. Click on the Call The Maven button which requests the The Maven to observe your battle.

2. Defeat The Shaper
Entry
Players must use the following fragments in their map device to fight The Shaper. They can be collected by fighting various bosses, and can also be traded amongst players.
Fragment of the Hydra – obtained by defeating the Lair of the Hydra Map boss
Fragment of the Chimera – obtained by defeating the Pit of the Chimera Map boss
Fragment of the Phoenix – obtained by defeating the Forge of the Phoenix Map boss
Fragment of the Minotaur – obtained by defeating the Maze of the Minotaur Map boss
The arena is called The Shaper’s Realm.
Recommendations
The following is recommended:
At least 1 million damage per second
Capped elemental resistances (fire, cold and lightning resistance at 75%); overcapped cold resistance is also useful
At least 5,000 combined Life and Energy Shield and a reliable source of recovery
Moderate mitigation or avoidance, including Physical damage reduction
Movement skill to avoid Shaper’s slams and beams
The fight consists of multiple phases. Before the Shaper encounter begins, the player must defeat four side bosses at the nexus. After that a portal opens to the Shaper’s arena. The Shaper himself has three phases. At the end of the first and second phases he banishes Zana and the player to a passage while he heals up. The players must traverse the passage and return to the arena to begin the next phase. The Shaper recovers health slowly between phases.
