Tainted Oil Tainted Oil can be combined with other Oils at Cassia to Enchant Corrupted Rings, Amulets or Blighted Maps.

Tainted Oil allows anointment of corrupted items.

Tainted Oil drops from Corrupted Blighted Maps. Meanwhile, chests in Blighted Maps now benefit from the map's item quantity value.

Talismans no longer drop using the well-rolled mod system, but their anointments can be changed using a Tainted Oil. 

PoE 3.19 Changes: The new Beyond monsters can now occasionally drop the Scourge league's Tainted currency items that allow you to modify corrupted items. The Scourge have taken over the realm of the Beyond demons. Summoning monsters from Beyond will now summon Scourge monsters and bosses.

Tainted Oil Tainted Oil allows you to apply anointments to Corrupted Rings, Amulets or Blighted Maps.

Normally, anointing Fatal Blade needs the following oils:

In order to anoint a corrupted item, it needs Tainted Oil Tainted Oil. As the following image shown, this Corrupted item requires a Tainted Oil Tainted Oil to anoint.

Need Tainted Oil

Use 1x Amber Oil Amber Oil + 2x Opalescent Oil Opalescent Oil + 1x Tainted Oil Tainted Oil to anoint a Corrupted amulet. At last, get the Fatal Blade notable passive skill.

Where to Anoint an item?

Sister Cassia offers anoint service. She is an NPC who introduces the player to Blight encounters. She can randomly be found in maps. After encountering her for the first time, she can be invited to your hideout.
