List of PoE Tainted Currency

Tainted currencies drop from Beyond monsters. They can only be used on corrupted items, usually at the cost of being more unpredictable than their standard equivalents.

Tainted Armourer's Scrap	1	Randomises the quality of a corrupted armour. The maximum random quality is 29%.
Tainted Blacksmith's Whetstone	1	Randomises the quality of a corrupted weapon. The maximum random quality is 29%.
Tainted Chaos Orb	12	Unpredictably either reforges a corrupted rare item with new random modifiers or removes all of its modifiers.
Tainted Chromatic Orb	2	Unpredictably reforges the colour of sockets on a corrupted item.
Tainted Divine Teardrop	68	Unpredictably raises or lowers the tier of each modifier on a corrupted rare item.
Tainted Exalted Orb	35	Unpredictably adds or removes a modifier on a corrupted rare item. Rare items can have up to six random modifiers.
Tainted Jeweller’s Orb	8	Unpredictably adds or removes a socket on a corrupted item.
Tainted Mythic Orb	2	Unpredictably either upgrades a corrupted item to unique rarity or destroys it. Cannot apply to Maps.
Tainted Orb of Fusing	50	Unpredictably adds or removes a link to the largest group of linked sockets on a corrupted item.
Tainted Oil	1	Can be combined with other Oils at Cassia to Enchant Corrupted Rings, Amulets or Blighted Maps.

PoE 3.23: Tainted Blessings can no longer be obtained, and existing items will be deleted upon logging in.

PoE 3.19 Changes: The new Beyond monsters can now occasionally drop the Scourge league's Tainted currency items that allow you to modify corrupted items. The Scourge have taken over the realm of the Beyond demons. Summoning monsters from Beyond will now summon Scourge monsters and bosses.

How to farm Tainted Currency?

Tainted currency items have restrictions on where or how it can drop. Tainted Currency have a chance to drop from Beyond monsters, and is guaranteed to drop several random Tainted Currency from Beyond bosses.

PoE Tainted Blessing

Tainted Blessing can be placed in the Divine Font to allow Enchantment of Corrupted Gloves, Boots, Helmets or Belts. The price of Tainted Blessing is about 3 Chaos Orbs. It is a currency item. Stack Size: 10.

Farming Tainted Blessing

Tainted Blessing can be obtained from Scourge encounters. The drop level is 35.

Example

As the following example shown, the Corrupted item requires a Tainted Blessing to enchant.

In this example, the corrupted gloves enchants a new mods: Trigger Decree of Inferno on Kill.

Divine Font Enchantments

When you have completed the Labyrinth, you can go to the Divine Font and enchant Gloves, Boots, Helmets or Belts. If you want to enchant a corrupted item, then you must add Tainted Blessing.

The following is an enchantment example for a normal gloves.

Interacting with the Divine Font will now display a window with the available enchantments. For example, after completing the Eternal Labyrinth, a window will be displayed where you will have the option to pick one of three Helmet enchantments, or an enchantment for your Boots or Gloves.

Complete each of the following Beyond encounters.

Defeat Rare Beyond Monsters (0/100)
Use Tainted Currency (0/10). Fiendish Opulence(atlas passive): 25% increased Quantity of Tainted Currency dropped by Beyond Demons in your Maps.
Defeat Beyond Bosses (0/3). Torn Veil(atlas passive): Beyond Portals in your Maps have 30% increased chance to spawn a Unique Boss.
Defeat a Beyond boss in a Tier 16 Map with at least 80% Item Quantity. Torn Veil(atlas passive): Beyond Portals in your Maps have 30% increased chance to spawn a Unique Boss.
