Lost Ark Summoner Class Engravings Skills Awakening

Heroes of Arkesia,

On December 14, the Summoner Advanced Class will arrive in Arkesia with the December Update. Despite their delicate constitution, Summoners are a force to be reckoned with in any battle. They call forth elemental spirits to fight for them, each with their own special skills to help the Summoner shine in every situation. With a powerful variety of water, lightning, earth, and more unique attacks, the Summoner is a welcome addition to the roster of available Mage Advanced Classes.

The Summoner will join the Bard, Sorceress, and Arcanist as the fourth Mage Advanced Class. In this Lost Ark Academy, you’ll find information to see if the Summoner is the class for you— and if so, help you start planning the skills and engravings you’re interested in using to enhance your impact on the battlefield.

Class Identity

The Class Identity is built around summoning Ancient Elementals. You collect Ancient Energy by you (or your summoned companions) attacking your foes. If you collect enough Ancient Energy, you obtain and Elemental Orb which can be consumed to summon an Ancient Elemental. There are five Ancient Elementals that can be summoned, which cost increasingly more orbs.

  • Osh (3 Orbs) – Summon the Ancient Elemental Osh at the target location within 12 meters to attack foes with its stomp. The stomp inflicts Damage to foes at the center of impact and Earth Damage to those near the periphery and slams them onto the ground.

  • Alimaji (4 Orbs) – Summon the dragon-form Ancient Elemental Alimaji at a target location within 12 meters. Alimaji swallows targets, inflicting Earth Damage and launching foes into the air.

  • Phoenix (5 Orbs) – Summon the Ancient Elemental Phoenix that inflicts Fire Damage, burns them and knocks them back.

  • Jahia and Ligheas (6 Orbs) – Summon Water Elementals Jahia and Ligheas, inflicting Water Elemental Damage to all nearby foes. Afterwards, temporarily freeze the whirlpool, freezing foes and inflicting Water Damage. Complete the Awakening quest to learn this skill.

  • Akir (7 Orbs) – Summon the ancient Elemental Akir at a target location within 14 meters. Akir pulls nearby foes close, inflicting Lightning Damage, then lets out a fierce roar that inflicts Lightning Damage. This skill can be learned after completing the Second Awakening Quest.

Class Engravings

Like other Advanced Classes, the Summoner has two unique Class Engravings that each enhance different aspects of the class. Looking Ahead

In next week’s update, the Summoner will release. For players eager for the Summoner to arrive, the two ongoing progression events will still be active; a Punika Powerpass and a Hyper Express Event that helps accelerate a character from Item Level 1302 to 1445. Make sure to save them for the Summoner if you haven’t used them already!

Players will receive a Punika Powerpass after completing Punika’s quest “Berver’s Friend” during (or before) the event period. The Punika Powerpass will function like the North Vern Powerpasses available to players in the launch version of Lost Ark— once you’ve completed the storyline through that continent, you can use it to bring an alternate character to that point in the game. With the Punika Powerpass, you’ll receive Item Level 1302 gear.

Players will be able to designate one character between item Level 1302 and 1445 on their roster to participate in the Hyper Express Event, where they’ll earn honing materials, and level up quickly to Item Level 1445. The designated character will earn rewards from missions when increasing their Item Level to 1445— which grants a particularly valuable reward.

Stay tuned to PlayLostArk.com and our social media channels for the full list of updates in next week’s Release Notes. Until then, we’ll see you in Arkesia.
