Fanaticism grants Spells you Cast yourself 75% more Cast Speed, 75% reduced all cost and 75% increased Area of Effect.

1. Instruments of Zeal

Instruments of Virtue has been simplified and made more powerful. Its benefits no longer strictly apply if you've cast a spell or attacked recently, but it now grants 10% more attack damage for each non-instant spell you've cast recently (up to a maximum of 30%).

It also grants Battlemage which causes you to gain added spell damage equal to the damage of your main-hand weapon. This provides a lot of new hybrid spellcaster-melee build possibilities.

You can combine Instruments of Virtue with the new Instruments of Zeal ascendancy passive - this introduces the concept of fanaticism, which causes spells you cast yourself to have 75% more cast speed, reduced mana cost and increased area of effect.

Fanaticism is gained by using attacks regularly, giving huge bonuses for weaving attacking and spellcasting together.
