Frost Shield is a spell gem. Place a Frost Shield that drains your energy shield for one second or until you run out, gaining stages while this drain occurs. The Frost Shield takes some damage from hits in place of you and allies while in its area. Enemies in the area are Chilled. You can only have one Frost Shield active at once.The Frost Shield will take some damage for you. Critical, Spell, AoE, Duration, Cold. Level: 1–20. Cost: 30–54 Mana. Cooldown Time: 5.00 sec. Cast Time: 0.50 sec. Requires Level 34.

Frost Shield creates an icy dome on the ground at your location that protects the caster and their allies from enemies. When cast, it rapidly consumes your energy shield at a flat rate for one second and will grow in power and life based on how much energy shield is drained. The skill provides protection until it runs out of life.
Frost Shield will protect you and your allies from a small portion of enemy damage if they’re within the shield or a large portion of their damage if the enemies are outside the shield. All enemies close to or within the shield will also be chilled.
Additionally, while you’re inside Frost Shield’s dome, it will provide added base critical strike chance. This makes it great for defensive positioning on bosses, letting you take cover within the sphere and unleash hell as long as the shield holds.
Just like Void Sphere, it works well with the Second Wind Support. Using the Increased Area of Effect or Concentrated Effect Supports allows you to control whether you want more space to move within or a tighter area. A smaller shield provides you with better control over how many enemies enter the shield’s area for maximum damage mitigation.

Frost Shield is a spell that creates a chilling field in an area around you when cast for a duration. The area drains your energy shield when initially cast, and uses the absorbed energy shield to redirect a percentage of the damage the user takes to itself while the user is within it. The user also gains increased spell critical strike chance while within the field.

Jinxed Juju ("from your Spectres' Life before you") gets in first, changing which object the damage takes from in the first place - note the lack of any reference to Life or ES specifically, as this is before any consideration of what resource is lost to damage, only determining which objects the damage affects.
Frost Shield ("from Frost Shield before your Life or Energy Shield") is next, being more specific in that the damage is affecting specifically your life or ES, but still taking precedence over any buffs on you because this is taking from an external object, rather than a separate resource you have.
