The women’s game in FC 24 has had numerous new developments and gameplay has been a vital part in bringing it to life. Our aim is to make women’s matches feel more authentic and unique, so we carried out a dedicated HyperMotion2 capture shoot for this purpose. With two professional women’s teams, this capture allows us to have animations that are specific and distinct to female players, all based on real-life movement.
Here are the gameplay elements we’re adding to women’s football in FC 24:
● New Movements – Created three unique sets of movement archetypes based on height variance, totalling hundreds of distinct animations.
● New Star Signature Run Styles – Made multiple new movement visuals based on real players, including Sam Kerr and more.
● Women-only animations – Added hundreds of new women-exclusive animations, including shots, kick-offs, stationary idles, celebrations, jockeys, passes, ball control, dribbling and more.
