Earthbreaker Support is a support gem. Slam skills that are linked to Earthbreaker summon an ancestor totem that uses the skill for you while you're near it. Being near it grants you increased area of effect for melee skills.

Attack, Melee, Slam, AoE, Support, Totem. Level: 1–20. Cost & Reservation Multiplier: 200%. Requires Level 8.

Supported Skills deal (0–19)% less Damage
Supported Skills will summon a Totem which uses that Skill
Totem lasts 12 seconds
(10–19)% increased Area of Effect with Melee Skills while Totem is Active
Supported Skills have 50% increased Totem Placement speed
Supported Skills have 30% less Attack Speed

This is a Support Gem. It does not grant a bonus to your character, but to skills in sockets connected to it. Place into an item socket connected to a socket containing the Active Skill Gem you wish to augment. Right click to remove from a socket.

PoE Earthbreaker Support Skill Build

The Earthbreaker Support gem can be linked to any Slam skill. Upon use, it summons an Ancestor Totem that uses that slam on your behalf.

In this example, we’ve created a build that summons multiple Ancestor Totems that each wield Tectonic Slam. As you can see, this build covers a large area in fiery death while you get to stay out of harm’s way.

This is a powerful option for Chieftains in particular due to the various totem bonuses available on their Ascendancy Passive Tree. Adept players will also be wondering if the Earthbreaker Support allows you to create Leap Slamming totems and the answer is… absolutely.

As with other Ancestor totems, the Earthbreaker Support also provides a buff to you granting some increased area of effect with melee skills.
