Blood Ritual debuff uses a generic skull icon that shared with a lots of debuffs. Blood Ritual itself deals physical damage over time. Since it is NOT Bleed or Corrupted Blood, the debuff cannot be removed by flask mod or mod that prevent corrupted blood. Player need to kill the boss and the clone quickly and /or not step on the ground effect to prevent take too much DOT. Alternatively, life recovery and physical damage taken as, may able to migrate the DOT from this debuff.

Blood Ritual is granted from the ground effect of the skill of Kadaris, Crimson Mayor, and its clones.
A ground effect is the general term for a patch of terrain that has some consequence on characters or monsters positioned on it. Detrimental ground effects do not affect allies of the character that created them, while those ground effects created by monsters or the environment will not affect other monsters. The inverse is true for beneficial ground effects.
Characters and monsters can be affected simultaneously by different types of overlapping ground effects. Those of the same type do not cumulatively stack their effects. For ground effects that inflict damage, only one of each type with the highest damage per second will cause damage at any given moment.
