FC 24 will have a new and improved upgrade system for Fantasy FUT. There are four upgrade opportunities as well as the ability to earn three new traits.

These are the four ways that Fantasy FUT players can upgrade in FC 24, starting from Friday, March 17, after each player has been released.

• +1 Upgrade: Three appearances in the next six domestic league games
• +1 Upgrade: Two goals or assists (Attackers/Midfielders) or two clean sheets (Defenders/Goalkeepers) in the next six domestic league games
• +1 Upgrade and three new traits: Avoid defeat in the next six domestic league games

Fantasy FUT Heroes will receive smaller upgrades, with the Heroes only eligible for two of the four possible upgrades due to them not being able to make appearances or be involved in goals or clean sheets.
