“Wetwork” is the third mission in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II single-player campaign. This guide will quickly recap what’s going on and how to complete each task.
After learning Hassan has gotten his hands on American missiles, Shepherd is not happy and wants to know who helped him smuggle those weapons in. Laswell figures out Amsterdam is the place to go to find out that intel as the city functions as a smuggling hub.
“Wetwork” takes place in Amsterdam, where you are tasked with diving into the city’s canals to get inside AQ’s barge and find out who they are working with.
Once you have control over Price, move forward to take down the enemy. You can either use a throwing knife to get the job done or get up on the deck and sneak behind him.
This enemy has a silencer gun on him that you can take to make killing the others easier.
Now move left to find the first patrol boat and eliminate both enemies on board.
Silencer guns don’t work that well in ranged combat, so it is best to get close to your target and aim for the head to make each kill quicker and quieter.
You can use the canal to move around silently. Just dive down to get from one place to another without being seen.
Take down the first patrol boat and keep moving left to take down two guys patrolling one of the decks.
If these guys spot you, they will throw grenades underwater to try and hurt you, so try to take everyone down as stealthily as you can.
Take down the remaining guard on the decks and then sweep the area to find the second patrol boat.
Keep dealing with all the enemies in the harbor until the area is clear.
After clearing the docks, it’s safe to get inside the barge. All you have to do is swim over there — it’s the big red boat— and wait until Price opens the gate.
Now that you’re on board, open the door, kill anyone inside, head downstairs, and keep dealing with enemies. Go slow and beware of ambushes, especially in the barge’s corridor. Once you get to the boat’s bedroom, kill the enemy in the bathroom and get his phone to end the mission.
